A company is looking for a Lead Coder who will provide leadership and expertise to the coding team in various care settings. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with coding standards and guidelines while supporting quality and accuracy in coding practices Mentor and train coding staff, assisting with onboarding and cross-training to meet departmental needs Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve coding-related issues impacting reimbursement and compliance Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional coding experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC credential Associate's degree preferred Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and PCS coding guidelines Strong understanding of reimbursement methodologies and revenue cycle workflows
