Job Overview
Codes and abstracts Facility Inpatient medical records for the Deaconess Health System to accurately reflect patient condition and treatments rendered

Education and Experience
High School Graduate or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of one year of hospital coding experience is preferred. Candidates must have a coding background and pass internal tests to be considered for the position.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Candidate must hold a driver's license and have a car to be able to travel to office locations for training. CCS, RHIT or RHIA licensure required.
