To support healthcare operations, the full-time or part-time CCS Certified Inpatient Coder will review medical records, assign diagnoses and procedures, and ensure accurate coding in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Review medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures, ensuring appropriate DRG assignment Utilize IKS Health applications to enter coded charts in real-time and meet productivity and quality performance requirements Maintain current coding knowledge and participate in training and team meetings as required Required qualifications CCS certification is mandatory Minimum of 3-5 years of recent inpatient coding experience in a large acute care facility Proficiency with Cerner, Epic, and 3M 360 coding systems Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles and guidelines Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes
