Inpatient Coder, a full-time or PRN position, is responsible for accurately coding inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes while maintaining a quality standard of 95% or greater. Key Responsibilities Perform inpatient coding for medical records in compliance with coding standards Ensure coding accuracy and quality while meeting client productivity targets Utilize remote connectivity tools and office software for effective communication and data management Required Qualifications AHIMA or AAPC certification (CPC, CIC, COC) A minimum of two years of recent inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting Experience in coding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codes Knowledge of MS DRG Coding Classification Systems Technical competency with remote-based connectivity and office software
