A company is looking for a Pro Fee Coder - OBGYN. Key Responsibilities Select and sequence ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes for designated patient types Review and analyze facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and/or Evaluation and Management codes Abstract clinical data from records to support diagnoses, procedures, and discharge dispositions Required Qualifications, Training, and Education An active AHIMA or AAPC credential Two years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines Ability to code at a 95% quality threshold Proficient in MS Office applications
