Key Responsibilities Translate health care services and procedures into standardized codes on outpatient accounts Maintain timeliness of coding, billing, and accounts receivable using Epic work quests Respond to documentation clarification requests and communicate with providers and clinical documentation specialists Required Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in HIT/HIM, or a high school diploma with specific coding certifications Must pass an internal coding test Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding 1 year of outpatient coding experience RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P certification required within 90 days of hire
