To ensure accurate coding and data integrity, the full-time Inpatient Coder - Remote will manage the coding and abstracting of clinical information from medical records for assigned facilities while assisting with quality reviews and training new coders. Key responsibilities Accurately code and abstract patient health documentation for assigned facilities Review flagged cases for coding accuracy and assist in quality reviews and audits Participate in coding education and maintain professional coding credentials Required qualifications Associates or higher-level degree in a Health Information Management discipline Successful completion of at least one AHIMA certified program with a relevant professional credential preferred (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, etc.) 1-3 years of inpatient coding experience Skilled and knowledgeable in MS Office suite Strong technical background and experience with electronic medical records
