Working remotely, the full-time CCS Certified Inpatient Coder will review medical documentation, assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, and ensure coding accuracy while meeting productivity standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Review documentation to code diagnoses (ICD-10-CM) and procedures (ICD-10-PCS) Communicate with physicians to clarify diagnoses and procedures through the query process Perform peer reviews of coding auditors and coders to maintain coding quality Required Qualifications Active CCS, RHIT, RHIA, CPC, or CIC credential Minimum of three years of facility-based inpatient coding experience Level 1 Trauma coding experience required Epic experience required Ability to interpret medical records and apply judgment in coding decisions #J-18808-Ljbffr
