To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Facility Inpatient Coder will assign ICD-10 CM, ICD-10 PCS, and CPT codes based on health care record documentation while working fully remote. Key responsibilities Assign ICD-10 CM, ICD-10 PCS, and CPT codes based on health care record documentation Review and collect health information data elements for patient care, statistical, financial, and research purposes Maintain confidentiality of health information in compliance with professional coding standards and billing regulations Required qualifications Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Health Information Technology or Coding, or equivalent program with emphasis in coding Coding accreditation and/or certification in coding by a recognized professional organization required within 18 months of hire Previous applicable experience is beneficial Demonstrated motivation, organization, and attention to detail Ability to work as a team with minimal supervision
