To support healthcare operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Outpatient Coder will be responsible for abstracting, coding, sequencing, and interpreting clinical information from various medical records while working remotely. Key responsibilities Abstract and code clinical data, ensuring accurate assignment of diagnoses and procedure codes Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as internal policies Track productivity and maintain a quality rating of 95% or higher Required qualifications Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program Two years of post-certification coding experience Experience with EPIC and CAC systems Knowledge of coding conventions and compliance standards established by relevant healthcare organizations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
