To support the inpatient coding team, the full-time Colorado Licensed Inpatient Coder will assign ICD-10 and PCS codes for medical diagnoses and procedures remotely, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate coding and compliance. Key responsibilities Reviews accounts post-admission and updates coding as documentation is added throughout the patient's stay Collaborates with physicians and quality teams to ensure accurate and complete coding Enhances coding knowledge through continuing education and literature review Required qualifications High School diploma or GED Coding-related certification from AHIMA or AAPC; CCS Certification preferred 1 year of inpatient coding experience or 3 years of outpatient coding experience
