Job Description

To support coding operations, the fully remote Certified Outpatient Coder II will code both professional and facility claims, requiring experience in oncology infusion, observation, primary care, wound care, and E/M coding. Key responsibilities Code professional (PB) and facility (HB) claims accurately and efficiently Demonstrate competency in multi-specialty coding, including surgical and outpatient services Maintain compliance with coding standards and guidelines while ensuring quality and accuracy in documentation Required qualifications Associates Degree in a science field preferred, with completion of an accredited program through AHIMA or AAPC RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCA, CPC, CPC-H, or CIRCC credential required Two years of multi-specialty coding experience, preferably in surgical coding Experience in coding E/M's, Outpatient Hospital Clinics, and various surgical CPT codes Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care facility as a Clinical Coder I
