To support healthcare operations, the full-time State Licensed Inpatient Coder will accurately abstract and enter data into electronic medical record systems, assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, and maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95% or better while working remotely. Key responsibilities Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes to inpatient accounts following established guidelines Abstract and enter coded data for hospital statistical and reporting requirements Query physicians to clarify clinical information and communicate documentation improvement opportunities Required qualifications Valid CCS credential from AHIMA 3+ years of inpatient coding experience in large Academic/Trauma 1 settings (600+ bed facilities) Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding Experience with Epic & Solventum preferred 3+ years of coding experience within the U.S. required
