Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Certified Outpatient Coder will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for Outpatient Facility Same Day Surgeries and Observations, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high accuracy rates. Key responsibilities: Provide coding services and calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using company algorithms Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes while interpreting coding guidelines for precise code assignment Participate in company training and maintain compliance with ethical coding standards and internal policies Required qualifications: Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience in Same Day Surgeries and Observations coding Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, including basic spreadsheet functions and email management Experience with EMR and billing systems is required Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
