To support healthcare documentation accuracy, the full-time Sr Inpatient Coding Specialist will review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes while adhering to ethical coding standards, working remotely. Key responsibilities: Review and analyze inpatient and outpatient medical records for accurate coding Assign diagnoses and procedure codes in compliance with official coding guidelines Maintain knowledge of coding classification systems and relevant regulations Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of coding experience in ICD-10-CM and HCPCS/CPT coding Certification as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC, or completion within 6 months of employment Working knowledge of MS-DRGs, APCs, and other coding systems Experience with 3M encoder and Epic is preferred
