About the role You will join a team that partners with healthcare organizations to strengthen their revenue cycle. As a coder, you’ll deliver accurate, compliant coding for clients who count on you to get it right. Many of our client sites have limited on-site coding support, so you’ll work independently, communicate clearly with providers, and own the quality of your work. This is a 100% remote, 12-month W2 contract role with flexible scheduling between 6am and 6pm in your local time zone (40 hours a week). Successful candidate could have the opportunity to extend or convert to full-time employment. Multiple ED, SDS and IP Coding Assignments Available & Data Quality Auditors Needed Description: Coders and Auditors with 3-5+ years of facility coding experience are needed to provide coverage to Pena4’s clients. Responsibilities : Pena4 M edical Coders are responsible for accurately assigning ICD-10-CM/PCS diagnosis and CPT procedure codes for inpatient and outpatient hospital services. This role ensures coded data is complete, compliant, and supports appropriate reimbursement, quality reporting, and regulatory requirements.
