Job Description

Experienced in radiology coding, the full-time or part-time Radiology Pro Fee Coder will work remotely, utilizing Epic and 3M to abstract, code, and sequence clinical information from medical records while maintaining compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Key responsibilities Abstract, code, and sequence clinical information from various medical records, ensuring accurate coding for reimbursement Utilize technical coding principles to assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes Maintain compliance with external regulatory requirements and track productivity levels in specified systems Required qualifications Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program Minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in both acute care and pro fee Proficiency in using Epic and 3M coding software Experience with querying providers for accurate coding Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
