Key Responsibilities Accurately code diagnoses, procedures, and services for medical records and billing Collaborate with providers to ensure documentation is clear and complete Review claim edits and correct errors in a timely manner Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Must pass an internal coding test; proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding Minimum of 1 year of physician/professional coding experience in a healthcare setting CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification required, or must obtain within the probationary period Knowledge of professional billing revenue cycle processes preferred
