Key Responsibilities Accurately assign codes for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency service diagnoses and procedures Perform data entry tasks and engage in daily assignments to reinforce coding skills Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies during coding processes Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) preferred Basic knowledge of coding systems such as ICD-10 and CPT Relevant coding credentials (e.g., RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, CPC-A) are beneficial Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio Willingness to learn and develop coding skills under supervision
