Key Responsibilities Assign accurate ICD-CM/PCS & CPT/HCPCS codes to diagnoses and procedures Comply with coding guidelines and abstract required information for statistical and reimbursement purposes Collaborate with revenue cycle team members to ensure appropriate billing and reimbursement Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Completion of an AAPC or AHIMA approved coding certificate program with relevant certification Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, and coding guidelines Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software Completion of Medical Coding courses focused on ICD-CM/PCS and CPT coding guidelines
