Key Responsibilities Assign accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes for services performed Ensure compliance with medical necessity and payer-specific billing guidelines Collaborate with billing teams and participate in coding audits Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred Active coding certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent Minimum 3-5 years of medical coding experience in pain management and workers' compensation billing Experience with multiple EHR/Practice Management systems Basic understanding of NCCI edits and payer-specific billing guidelines
