Responsibilities
The HIM Certified Coder will be responsible for coding and abstracting for physician billing using software and coding books based on current work assignment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years of coding experience preferred.
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification through AHIMA must be obtained within twelve months of hire.
Stay within remote-work states: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas. If hired from outside these states, relocation to one of the allowed states within 60 days may be required.
