Job Details - On-Site Medical Coding Job - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,260 - $1,400 (competitive pay for inpatient medical coders)

Job Requirements - Inpatient Medical Coder Qualifications - Minimum 1 year of acute care inpatient coding experience (hospital coding)
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding and MS-DRG assignment
- Comfortable coding a broad mix of inpatient charts across specialties
- Able to work independently and meet productivity/quality targets
- CCS certification strongly preferred; RHIT/RHIA considered for candidates with strong recent inpatient coding experience
- Familiarity with clinical documentation, coding compliance, and electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
Responsibilities - Inpatient Coding & MS-DRG Assignment - Accurately code inpatient charts using ICD-10-CM/PCS and assign MS-DRGs consistent with hospital coding guidelines
- Ensure compliance with coding regulations, payer requirements, and internal quality standards
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in a hospital setting (production-driven hospital coding)
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams as needed to clarify documentation and support coding accuracy
- Adapt to evolving systems and processes as the client onboards and updates workflows
