Job Requirements - Minimum 1 year of professional fee orthopedic coding experience (medical coding for orthopedics/interventional pain)
- Proficiency in coding pain injections and orthopedic procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
- Familiarity with medical billing workflows, EHR/billing systems, and new client onboarding processes
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment while meeting productivity and quality targets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with coding audits and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for collaborating with clinical and billing teams
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or similar certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities - Accurately code professional fee orthopedic procedures with a focus on pain injections and interventional pain codes
- Support new client onboarding by ensuring timely, compliant, and precise coding for physician claims
- Review clinical documentation to assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for billing
- Work independently to meet deadlines, productivity goals, and quality metrics
- Collaborate with remote team members to resolve coding questions, denials, and documentation gaps
- Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and adherence to relevant coding/billing regulations
