Key Responsibilities Reviews medical record documentation to select appropriate billing codes Codes evaluation and management using CPT and ICD-9 codes Collaborates with physicians to ensure accurate documentation and coding Required Qualifications Must have one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A) No specific work experience is required A diploma, certification, or degree is not required Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred Previous coding experience or an associate degree in a related field is preferred
