A company is looking for a Coder. Key Responsibilities Organizes and prioritizes work to ensure timely completion of coding tasks, reviewing medical records and assigning appropriate ICD and CPT codes Maintains coding accuracy of 90% or better while adhering to regulatory coding principles and reimbursement policies Mentors and assists in training other coders, participates in coding policy development, and maintains positive relationships with healthcare providers Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Minimum Required) 1 year of ICD-10 Coding experience in a medical practice (Preferred) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) certification from AAPC (Required upon hire)
