A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Auditor to perform audits and reviews of inpatient facility records remotely. Key Responsibilities Conduct inpatient coding audits and review services for various facility record types Identify trends from audit findings and recommend corrective action plans Provide in-service education and assist in designing educational seminars for clients Required Qualifications RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification 2-5 years of experience in inpatient facility audits and coding Initiative to conduct research to maintain knowledge and skills Ability to remain impartial in audit findings and presentations Strong computer skills, including proficiency in audit software and HIPAA compliance
