A company is looking for a Physician Coder: Orthopedics. Key Responsibilities Review and accurately code Orthopedic Surgery and E/M cases to maximize reimbursement Work independently to research coding scenarios and meet daily production and quality goals Stay current on coding guidelines and participate in department meetings Required Qualifications and Education High School diploma required; Associates or BS degree preferred Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC certified program with a valid professional credential (CCS, CPC, etc.) Minimum of 3 years of physician coding experience in Orthopedics Proficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 coding, and billing policies Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare record systems; remote work experience preferred
