Now Hiring: Cardio Coder (Profee) | Houston, TX (Hybrid/Remote Options) We’re seeking an experienced Cardiology Coder to join a growing team supporting physician (profee) services. This role focuses on coding diagnoses and outpatient/ASC procedures, with frequent exposure to vein/leg procedures and some E/M validation. Key Responsibilities: Code diagnoses and outpatient/ASC procedures for cardiology providers Review and validate E/M levels (primarily Level 4, new vs. established patients) Ensure accuracy of provider-selected E/M codes Resolve coding edits (modifiers, documentation gaps, medical necessity, etc.) Requirements: CPC, CCC, or CCVTC certification Strong cardiology coding experience eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience highly preferred Location Options: Houston-based, hybrid onsite (preferred) Details: Houston, TX M–F, flexible daytime hours (7–4, 8–5, or 9–6) $25 - $30/hr| Contract-to-Hire Start: Mid–late April If you have strong cardiology coding experience and are looking for a flexible opportunity, apply today!
