About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder with an RN and CPC certification to join a growing medical review organization that specializes in independent, evidencebased clinical reviews. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN Coder looking to move away from bedside care and into a stable, analytical, nonpatientfacing role .
What You'll Do
Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews of medical review files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal and regulatory standards
Review medical records related to workers' compensation, group health, and disability claims
Gradually transition into conducting independent medical reviews, including:
Writing clear, wellsupported medical review reports
Compiling and citing appropriate clinical references and medical literature
Handle designated cases that specifically require RN Coder expertise
Ensure all reviews meet quality, documentation, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification
Strong understanding of medical coding, clinical documentation, and healthcare regulations
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a qualityfocused review environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
