Multi-Specialty Coding Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team as a Multi-Specialty Coding Specialist. This role requires a deep understanding of medical coding practices across various specialties. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely coding for all services provided.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and coding medical records for accuracy and compliance with coding standards.
- Ensuring timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding issues.
- Staying updated with changes in coding guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- RHIA or RHIT certification preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in medical coding.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
