We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while collaborating with providers and administrative staff to ensure a smooth revenue cycle.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

  • Review provider documentation to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.

  • Submit and manage electronic insurance claims.

  • Investigate and resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies.

  • Perform insurance follow-up and accounts receivable management.

  • Post insurance and patient payments.

  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.

  • Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, providers, and patients.

  • Stay current with payer guidelines and coding updates.

  • Help improve billing workflows and revenue cycle performance.

What We're Looking For

  • This is a full-time, on-site position. Remote applicants will not be considered.

  • CPC, CCS, COC, or equivalent AAPC/AHIMA coding certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.

  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.

  • Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.

  • Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is required.

  • Family Practice billing and coding experience is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

  • Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and exceptional patient service.
