We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while collaborating with providers and administrative staff to ensure a smooth revenue cycle.
Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Review provider documentation to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
Submit and manage electronic insurance claims.
Investigate and resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies.
Perform insurance follow-up and accounts receivable management.
Post insurance and patient payments.
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
Communicate professionally with insurance carriers, providers, and patients.
Stay current with payer guidelines and coding updates.
Help improve billing workflows and revenue cycle performance.
This is a full-time, on-site position. Remote applicants will not be considered.
CPC, CCS, COC, or equivalent AAPC/AHIMA coding certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is required.
Family Practice billing and coding experience is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and exceptional patient service.
Competitive hourly pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience.
Full-time, stable position.
