What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Conduct on-site and desk audits with providers and contractors to ensure compliance with AHCCCS contract and policy requirements
Monitor contractors to ensure compliance and program integrity, reviewing contract deliverables and providing corrective action
Analyze and interpret data to effectively communicate auditing and monitoring results
Research and understand Federal and State statutes pertaining to AHCCCS, Medicaid, and medical coding
Produce high-level reports and correspondence for internal and external customers
What is Required (Qualifications) Arizona Driver's License
Minimum of two to three years of experience working in a Managed Care Organization (MCO)
Strong understanding of AHCCCS, Medicaid, and behavioral health
Proficiency in data analysis, research, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or 2-3 years of work experience in analytics, auditing, healthcare, or medical coding
Strong computer skills, particularly in data collection in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)
