Reviews the medical record thoroughly and interprets documentation for accurate coding.
Sends physician queries and resolves NCCI edits using approved modifiers.
Qualifications: Requires RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credential and 3-4 years of acute care coding experience.
Meets established minimum coding productivity of 90% and quality standards of 95%.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
