Job Description
Albany Medical Center is seeking an Inpatient Hospital Coder for a remote per diem role in the Health Information Management department. Use ICD-10-CM/PCS, UHDDS, and related guidelines to assign accurate codes that support compliant reimbursement.
Responsibilities include resolving documentation gaps with clinicians, ensuring data quality for reporting, and participating in daily huddles and department activities. Requires coding certification and hospital coding experience.
