Job Description
AAPC is seeking a Coder 2 to evaluate diagnostic and procedural information in medical records and assign APCs for reimbursement. The role involves verifying clinical data and determining medical necessity for Medicare/Medicaid outpatient testing, under supervision of the Coding Manager and Director of Health Information Management. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years in Health Information Management, 1 year outpatient coding experience, and preferred RHIA/RHIT/CCS or CPC-H #J-18808-Ljbffr
