Remote Inpatient Coder: ICD-10/PCS Expert
Job Description
Albany Medical Center is seeking an Inpatient Hospital Coder in Health Information Management. This remote, per diem role requires applying ICD-10-CM/PCS codes to hospital encounters to support compliant reimbursement.
You will query providers, ensure coding accuracy, and adhere to official guidelines while maintaining patient information confidentiality. A coder with AHIMA or AAPC certification and a high school diploma is preferred, with experience in 3M 360 or EPIC helpful.
