To support efficient billing processes, the full-time Medical Billing Specialist will manage referral processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while identifying revenue opportunities and improving collection rates in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities: Review patient files for completeness, audit claims, and submit billing to payers for reimbursement Communicate with franchise partners and departments regarding order intake status and document case activity in the system Obtain prior authorizations, track progress, and communicate financial obligations to patients to ensure understanding of therapy costs Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing, and/or collections Two years of experience in Intake, Medical Billing, and/or Collections Two years of experience in home infusion therapy Coding Course Certification is highly preferred Proven knowledge of billing processes and systems across various payer types
