To support coding accuracy and compliance, the full-time remote Radiology Coding Auditor will ensure the integrity of coding operations, perform complex radiology coding, conduct quality assurance reviews, and collaborate with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and reimbursement outcomes. Key responsibilities Perform complex radiology coding and conduct quality assurance reviews Audit work completed by external coding partners and AI-assisted coding platforms Identify opportunities for improving coding accuracy and operational efficiency Required qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of recent radiology coding experience CPC or RCC certification required; CPMA and RCC-IR certifications preferred Direct experience coding PET and/or Nuclear Medicine studies Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and radiology reimbursement methodologies
