Seeking a full-time remote CCS Certified Coder III, who will be responsible for the accurate and timely assignment of ICD 10 CM/PCS and HCPCS/CPT codes for various patient records, ensuring compliance with coding standards and productivity expectations. Key responsibilities: Reviews and interprets patient records to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes Performs coding and abstracting tasks to support accurate billing and data quality Mentors newer coders and collaborates with the Coding Management Team for accurate code assignment Required qualifications: CCS credential required College degree in Health Information Management or completion of an AHIMA Approved Certificate Program, or one year of coding experience in an acute care setting Associate or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
