The posted compensation range of $26.26 - $44.56/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Anesthesia Pain Coder, you will apply your senior-level expertise to meticulously code anesthesia and pain services, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a highly specialized field.
Every day you will review documentation to assign appropriate CPT/ASA codes, consulting the CPT-4/ASA manual and established criteria. You will also collaborate with clinic supervisors, providers, and the Revenue Management team to resolve complex coding issues and questions, adhering strictly to applicable payer rules and guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will possess at least three years of recent experience in anesthesia and pain coding, exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of CPT/ASA coding principles and payer rules, and strong communication skills to effectively resolve coding challenges.
