Key responsibilities Maintains established standards for coding and charge capture accuracy Monitors unposted charge logs for timely charge posting and ensures accurate assignment of CPT codes Acts as a liaison between clinical areas and coding operations to achieve revenue integrity Required qualifications Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC-approved coding or health information technology program 4 years of recent coding or auditing experience in an acute care hospital Certification: Obtain CIRCC within the first six months of employment
