Working remotely on a PRN basis, the Cardiology Coder will be responsible for coding cardiology-related medical records and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines. Key responsibilities Perform accurate coding of cardiology procedures and diagnoses Review and analyze medical records for completeness and compliance Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed Required qualifications Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) Experience in coding cardiology procedures and diagnoses Knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations Proficiency in medical terminology related to cardiology Ability to work independently in a remote setting
