Job Description

Analyzing complex clinical and demographic information, the full-time Oklahoma Licensed Senior Coder will assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS codes across outpatient, surgical, and inpatient encounters while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Perform coding for outpatient, surgical, and inpatient encounters, including ICD-10-PCS and CPT procedure coding Review complex documentation, resolve discrepancies, and manage multiple work queues while maintaining coding accuracy Provide mentorship and guidance to coding staff and collaborate with CDI and providers to align documentation with coding practices Required qualifications 1 year of coding experience High School Diploma or GED AHIMA-RHIA, AHIMA-RHIT, AHIMA-CCS, AAPC-CPC, AAPC-CIC, or AAPC-COC certification Experience applying ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT/HCPCS coding across various care settings Ability to independently interpret clinical documentation to support coding accuracy and consistency
