To support a growing company, the full-time Medical Biller & Denial Specialist will analyze and resolve insurance claim denials for DME supplies while working remotely from specified states, ensuring timely and effective appeals to recoup reimbursement. Key responsibilities Review and correct denied claims, ensuring appropriate coding and billing before submitting appeals Investigate claims with no payer response and identify trends in denials to prevent future errors Collaborate with team members and management to address coding issues and educate on payer policy changes Required qualifications Three or more years of DME billing/coding experience Experience in collections of insurance claims Background in Medicare and/or Medicaid Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience High school diploma or GED diploma
