Job Description

To support optimal reimbursement and quality reporting, the full-time remote Pro Fee Coder will be responsible for coding and abstracting diagnoses and procedures from medical records while ensuring compliance with regulations and effective communication with providers. Key responsibilities: Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for various specialty service accounts Abstract key data elements required for billing and regulatory compliance Review medical records for documentation accuracy and communicate with providers for clarification Required qualifications: RHIT, RHIA, CEDC, COC, CPC, CCS-P, or CCS credentials Three or more years of coding experience Thorough knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems Experience working in a remote environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
