Job Description

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Certified Professional Coder II will code complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and payor standards while interpreting operative notes and procedural documentation. Key responsibilities: Code complex surgical services and evaluation and management services for various specialties Interpret operative notes and procedural documentation to accurately code provider office and hospital charges Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines and payor standards Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 3 years of physician/professional complex surgical and E&M coding experience in a healthcare system or medical office setting Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification required Ability to pass internal coding test
