To support a growing healthcare team, the part-time Neurosurgery Medical Coder will review clinical documentation, apply appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes for neurology surgery cases, and ensure compliance with coding guidelines, all while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Perform quality surgical coding for neurology surgery cases and maintain accuracy standards Review clinical documentation to ensure proper coding and timely communication of any discrepancies Work collaboratively with coding and billing teams to maximize efficiency and reimbursement Required qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Minimum of 3 years of experience in Neurology Surgery Coding for both inpatient and outpatient claims CPC certification from AAPC Experience with EMR systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
