To support AI training data quality, the full-time temporary Knowledge Expert Coder with J.D. License will guide research teams, develop annotation guidelines, and evaluate data quality while working remotely. Key responsibilities Guide research teams to improve AI model performance and close knowledge gaps in legal practice Create and maintain high-quality annotation guidelines tailored to specific legal sub-domains Evaluate and grade the quality of annotations produced by vendors, providing actionable feedback for improvement Required qualifications J.D., LL.B, LL.M, LL.D, or Ph.D. in a law-related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal practice, teaching, or as in-house counsel Proficiency in coding, preferably with Python or other popular programming languages Experience with AI tools, particularly Claude code Strong analytical abilities and experience in quality assurance of legal content
