Job Description

To ensure accurate reimbursement capture, the full-time Remote Certified Coder will assign diagnostic and procedure codes to medical records while maintaining coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities Organizes and prioritizes assigned work to complete coding tasks within set time frames Utilizes ICD-10-CM and CPT classification systems to assign codes, ensuring a coding accuracy of 90% or better Maintains positive relationships with healthcare providers and assists in training and mentoring other coders Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Minimum Required) 1 year of experience in ICD Coding (Medical Practice) (Preferred) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) from AAPC (Required upon hire)
